We are a dedicated team of professionals working together to support students who need extra help to discover their strengths, build confidence, and find their direction after education.
Who We Are and Why We Do It.
C&G Education exists for students who need something different - practical learning experiences that build confidence, real-world skills, and a clear sense of direction.
Everything we do is shaped around one goal: to help students move forward with purpose and pride.
Built to Fill a Gap
C&G Education started in response to a real problem. Too many young people were leaving education without the skills or confidence needed to move into adult life. What began as a one-off programme has grown into a student-centred provision designed to bridge the gap between education and employment.
Creating Something New
In 2016 Rob (Director) designed and delivered a one-off supported internship programme, within an specialist college.
Proven Impact
The programme, for students at risk of being NEET, focused on employability, independence, and community connection. Resulting in 80% of students moving into employment and 20% into further education.
Identifying The need
Despite its success, the programme closed due to changing college priorities. Rob searched for similar initiatives but found limited provision meeting the same wide range of student needs.
Founding C&G Education
So, C&G Education was created. Focussed on being a trusted provision to help young people build confidence, explore interests, and take meaningful next steps into work, training, or further education.
What Makes Us Different?
We believe learning should feel relevant - not abstract. That’s why all of our programmes share key features. They are always - individualised, one to one, support students to develop their unique talents, and guide students them towards next steps that will be obtainable and fulfilling.
In our Skills For Working Life programme:
Each student gets a personalised path through our curriculum- no one size fits all. We take the student’s specific areas of needs, in combination with their aspirations and pull the relevant areas for them to work on in our SfWL curriculum alongside their 1:1 Job Coach.
