C&G Education is looking for compassionate and motivated support workers to support young people aged 15-25 with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. In this rewarding role, you'll work one-to-one with young people to build confidence, develop employability skills, and support their transition into work, training, or further education. Each student placement is 10 hours per week across two days, with flexibility to work with multiple students.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Deliver 1:1 coaching and tailored employability sessions

  • Support students with CV writing, job applications, and interview preparation

  • Accompany young people to work placements, providing in-work support where needed

  • Monitor, record, and report on progress and outcomes

  • Promote positive behaviour, independence, and self-management

  • Build strong relationships with employers, schools, colleges, and support staff

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about supporting young people to reach their potential

  • A confident communicator with patience, empathy, and motivation skills

  • Experienced (or keen to learn) in working with young people — full training provided

  • In possession of a full UK driving licence and access to a car

(business insurance required)

Desirable experience:
Education, support work, youth work, psychology, mentoring, SEN or SEMH support.

  • Mileage reimbursement over 30 miles (£0.45 per mile)

Essential requirements
